Aliaja’s journey to midwifery began in childhood when she first witnessed birth in its raw, beautiful, and empowering form—an experience that shattered the fearful narratives she had always heard. This pivotal moment ignited her passion for transforming the birth experience, ensuring that it is a space of strength, minimal intervention, and true empowerment.

She pursued her formal education at the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery, a MEAC-accredited institution, less than a year after giving birth to her first son. Experiencing childbirth herself reinforced her belief that every birthing person deserves to feel seen, respected, and fully supported—Across many backgrounds and birth settings. Aliaja has attended over 200 births.

With experience in both bustling birth centers and intimate home environments, Aliaja has developed a deep understanding of how to support families through a wide range of birthing experiences.
